What routine house cleaning includes

A routine visit focuses on the practical work that keeps your home feeling cared for. The exact plan can be discussed before booking, especially if there are rooms or surfaces you would like to prioritize.

  • Routine dusting and accessible surface wiping.
  • Bathroom cleaning.
  • Kitchen surface cleaning.
  • Vacuuming and mopping.
  • Cleaning supplies provided for the visit.

“Accessible” matters because every home is different. If a task requires moving heavy furniture, special equipment, or work beyond a normal visit, it is best to bring it up beforehand. That gives Cassie a chance to understand the request and give you an honest answer about what can be included.

When a deep clean makes more sense

A deep clean is a good option when your home needs more detail than a routine visit allows, when you are getting ready for guests, or when you want a cleaner starting point before regular help begins. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all price, Cassie reviews the home and the requested tasks first.

That conversation is useful for both sides. You can point out the rooms that matter most, describe any buildup or specialty areas, and ask about the schedule. Cassie can then explain what the work involves and provide a quote that matches the actual scope. It is a calmer way to make a decision than guessing at a package that may not fit your home.

Deep cleaning and routine cleaning can work together. A detailed first visit can give a home a reset, while later routine visits help maintain the areas you care about most. The best choice depends on your space, your timeline, and how much help you would like.

Clear details before your cleaning visit

Before work begins, you and Cassie can confirm the scope, final price, preferred timing, and anything else that affects the visit. For first-time or one-time cleaning and deep cleaning, a 25% deposit reserves the appointment. The deposit is based on the estimated or quoted total and counts toward the final bill.

Travel is included within 10 driving miles of the business base. Homes farther away have a $0.75 fee for each additional round-trip mile, and that fee is confirmed before booking. For example, a home 15 driving miles away adds 10 round-trip miles beyond the included distance, for a $7.50 travel fee.

Life happens, so plans may need to change. Deposits are refunded for cancellations at least 48 hours before service, or in full if Cassie cancels. Any late-cancellation terms are agreed before a deposit is collected. You can read the full service list and pricing on the Cleaning services and prices page.

Before you ask for a cleaning quote

You do not need a perfect checklist before you get in touch. A few simple details will help Cassie understand what you need and make the first conversation more useful: your location, the rooms you would like cleaned, whether you are thinking about ongoing help or a detailed one-time clean, and the days or times that could work.

It is also helpful to mention anything that changes the shape of the visit, such as a priority room, a surface that needs special care, pets in the home, or a task you are unsure about. Those details are not a commitment. They simply make it easier to agree on a realistic scope and give you a clearer expectation of the time and price.

If you are deciding between routine cleaning and a deep clean, start with what feels most urgent. Cassie can help you talk through the difference and choose the option that fits your home right now.

A personal approach to a cleaner home

Inviting someone into your home is personal. It helps to have one direct point of contact instead of a rotating call center or unclear service list. Cassie is the owner and operator behind Sunflowers & Butterflies Cleaning PLUS, so your first conversation is about your own home and the help you are looking for.

When you reach out, a few details can make the conversation easier: where you are located, which rooms or tasks are most important, whether you are considering routine or deep cleaning, and the dates that might work for you. You do not need to have every detail figured out. That is what the conversation is for.

If you also need help while you are away, Cassie offers house checks, laundry, pet-care visits, and overnight house and pet sitting. Those services have their own scope and pricing, and can be discussed separately so the plan stays clear.
